No petroleum experience? No problem. Were willing to train the right candidate. Travel to other Nwestco branches for hands-on training should be expected.

Your Mission:

You'll be out in the field working on:

  • Fuel dispensers (Gilbarco & Wayne)
  • Fuel pumps and submersible turbine pumps (STPs)
  • Underground and aboveground storage tanks (USTs & ASTs)
  • Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems
  • Leak detection and fuel system monitoring equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations
  • Service calls at commercial fueling facilities

You'll work independently in the field while being backed by an experienced team that's committed to helping you succeed.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience servicing petroleum equipment or a strong electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, diesel, HVAC, or field service background
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with tank monitoring systems such as Veeder-Root is a plus
  • Familiarity with fuel dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, POS systems, or similar equipment is preferred
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently

Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are highly valued, but we're committed to supporting continued training and certification for the right candidate.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check. This position is classified as safety-sensitive, it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.

  • Driving Requirement: This position requires regular operation of a Company vehicle. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current, valid and unrestricted drivers license, and have no DUI convictions or drivers license suspensions or revocations within the past five (5) years. Employment is contingent upon verification of an acceptable motor vehicle record and meeting the Companys automobile insurance eligibility requirements.
