  • Support energized work, switching activities, outages, and testing operations from a safety perspective
  • Assist with incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting, including documentation and follow-up
  • Serve as a field resource and mentor to crews by reinforcing safe work practices through direct engagement
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience working within electrical substations, including construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or outage activities
  • Strong understanding of substation-specific hazards, grounding practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and energized work protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field crews, supervisors, and project leadership in active substation environments
  • Willingness to travel to job sites across Texas as needed
  • OSHA 10 or 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, or similar safety training, preferred
  • Prior safety representative or safety leadership experience, preferred but not required

As a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.

  • 401(k) with immediate matching and vesting
  • Fully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision
    • Your choice of PPO, HSA, FSA
