Electrical Engineer The Opportunity:

Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Experience in the specialized, high-assigned field of facilities electrical power systems, including low, medium, and high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, commercial facility electrical distribution systems, emergency and standby power systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and short circuit and protective device coordination
  • Experience with commercial and industrial power systems, mechanical HVAC systems, fire protection, and construction
  • Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
  • Ability to manage commercial facility electrical design and construction projects
  • Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight
  • Ability to review and perform engineering calculations
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
