Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Exton, PA to lead and work on various projects. The Electrical Engineer reports to our Electrical Engineering Manager and the position requires working on fast paced technically complex design/build projects in the industrial, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food sectors. This position is in the Exton, PA office and is open to in-office and hybrid work schedule.
Your role
  • Preparation, design, modification, coordination, and/or review of the following under the direction of the Electrical Engineering Manager.
  • Prepare electrical system concepts for industrial, biotech, pharmaceutical and food facilities.
  • Prepare calculations for electrical loads.
  • Prepare single line diagrams for power distribution.
  • Prepare lighting layouts.
  • Prepare layouts for miscellaneous systems such as fire alarm, communication, and security systems.
  • Coordinate lighting systems with architect.
  • Coordinate electrical requirements of HVAC and Plumbing equipment with mechanical engineers.
  • Coordinate electrical requirements of process equipment with process engineers.
  • Review progress of construction in the field.
  • Participate in commissioning of systems.
About you
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent 4year degree.
  • 3-5 years of electrical design experience using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience using SKM/EasyPower/ETAP for Short Circuit and Arc Flash studies is a plus.
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Overtime hours may be necessary as workload dictates.
  • Travel to client sites may be required
