Electrical Engineering Manager

Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity located in Richland, WA.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensures effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
  • Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
  • Monitors goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Works on special projects, as directed.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years in electrical engineering and experience in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls.
  • Preferred skills: design/program of PLCs (Allen Bradley); oversee of field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong management capabilities: ability to identify and grow talent, build a sense of community within a team, and improve the output of another engineer.
  • Experience in overseeing instrumentation calibration programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
  • Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.
