Job description

As an FPGA Engineering Intern at HPR, you will:
  • Build on your strong academic background as you help us advance our high-performance computing and electronic trading systems
  • Collaborate with mentors to solve real-world problems
  • Own a project through the entire FPGA development life cycle
  • Develop tools to automate RTL and testbench generation

Education Requirements
  • Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and have attained Sophomore standing or higher
  • Successful completion or enrollment in relevant coursework such as Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization, or Embedded Systems
  • Must have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, if on a 4.0 scale

Required Qualifications
  • Internship or academic experience writing Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL
  • Familiarity working in a Linux environment
  • Proficiency with a scripting and/or high-level software language (e.g., Python, Perl, or similar)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with FPGAs
  • Familiarity with FPGA tools (Vivado and/or Quartus)

Compensation: In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated hourly rate this position is $42.00/hour. Please note that this range represents the expected base wage for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. This range does not include other forms of compensation such as potential bonuses.
