Job: Electrical Engineering Intern - Life Sciences

Location: Lenexa, KS

Life Sciences Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO.

  • Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry.

Life Sciences offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.

What You'll Do:
  • Preparing construction documents for various systems
  • Review of shop drawings and RFIs
  • Verification of permitting and code requirements
  • Facility evaluations and engineering studies
  • Trouble shooting and commissioning
  • Other fun duties as assigned!

What You'll Bring:
  • Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred
  • 2.7 GPA strongly preferred
  • Finished at least two years of school
  • Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
  • Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
