Electrical Engineer


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dallas. This role is ideal for a an Engineer with a strong background in building systems design.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical design for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, electrical rooms, equipment layouts, and building systems.
  • Perform electrical load calculations for generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, VFDs, feeders, and branch circuits.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, reports, and coordinated design solutions.
  • Support project development and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with an A/E consulting firm.
  • Strong building systems design experience, particularly with:
    • Power distribution
    • Lighting
    • Fire alarm
    • Security systems
    • Telecommunications
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.
