Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Pay: $150,000 - $200,000 / Annually depending on experience

Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5 onsite

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience supporting the design, construction, or operation of mission-critical facilities and data centers. This individual will play a key role in the development of complex electrical systems that support high-availability environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in power distribution, backup power systems, and electrical infrastructure for critical facilities. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering design efforts for data center and mission-critical facility projects.
  • Develop and review electrical system designs, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
  • Design and analyze medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Support the design and implementation of UPS systems, standby generators, switchgear, switchboards, PDUs, and related critical power infrastructure.
  • Perform load studies, short-circuit analysis, coordination studies, arc flash analysis, and power system evaluations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and commissioning support activities.
  • Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, local codes, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and serve as a trusted technical resource.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience designing or supporting data center, colocation, cloud infrastructure, or other mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and critical power infrastructure.
  • Experience with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, switchboards, and emergency power systems.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, or similar engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with hyperscale, enterprise, or colocation data center projects.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, resiliency, and redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N, etc.).
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
