Job description

A leading engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves direct client interaction, project planning, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical engineering tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and project alignment.
- Oversee project design, permitting, and technical documentation, including specifications and drawings.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing tasks across the project team.
- Address RFIs, submittals, and contract modifications to ensure project progress.
- Analyze electrical processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other engineering teams to troubleshoot challenges.
- Participate in site visits, agency meetings, and municipal reviews as required.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the water/wastewater field
- PE license required, licensure in FL or ability to transfer/obtain in FL
- Design and planing experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit
