Electrical Project Engineer

Location: New Orleans, LA
Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead and manage projects from initial concept through construction completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through construction completion
Serve as a primary or secondary point of contact for clients on projects
Provide technical expertise and ensure high-quality engineering deliverables
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
Conduct life cycle cost analysis and support construction cost evaluations
Represent the electrical discipline in client meetings and project discussions
Oversee and guide project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery

Qualifications:

Qualifications
Minimum 9+ years of experience in an architectural/engineering consulting environment
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
Strong expertise in electrical engineering design and systems
Experience managing moderate to complex projects
Knowledge of construction costs and life cycle analysis
Proven ability to manage tasks and schedules within the electrical discipline
