Project Manager (Electrical)

Horner amp; Shifrin is seeking a full-time Electrical Project Manager to work in our Building Services business unit. This is an excellent opportunity as we are continuing to grow in Northwest Arkansas and work on challenging and rewarding projects. This position requires 10+ years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Design of electrical lighting, power, and auxiliary systems for education, recreational, commercial, housing, and healthcare buildings. Projects also include water/wastewater, and the education sector
  • Prepare electrical, low voltage and special systems project construction documents and specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of project fees and budgets
  • Manage multi-discipline engineering projects
  • Coordinate schedules with clients and the internal team
  • Interface with Clients
  • Review of contracts and proposals
  • Design, load analysis, site surveys, RFI, and submittal reviews
  • Responsible for preparing Electrical systems project construction documents and specifications
  • QA/QC other Electrical Engineer’s documents
  • Coordinate design information between disciplines
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Strong ability to work in both AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience in building electrical systems preferred
  • Knowledge of SKM software preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of Visual or AGI lighting software preferred but not necessary
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or AE degree.
SALARY RANGE:

The target salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
