Job Summary
Aimtron Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in complex electronic assembly, precision soldering, and product validation. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, NPI, and quality functions by providing technical expertise for high-reliability electronic products used across industrial, medical, aerospace, and defense sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support electrical design verification and manufacturing engineering activities.
  • Perform complex soldering and rework on multilayer PCB assemblies.
  • Repair and troubleshoot high-density PCB assemblies to component level.
  • Evaluate electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Review schematics, Gerber files, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
  • Support prototype builds and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Conduct functional testing and validation of electrical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Production teams during manufacturing.
  • Recommend design improvements to enhance manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
  • Ensure compliance with IPC, customer, and industry quality standards.
  • Assist in process development, documentation, and engineering changes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Extensive experience with high-complexity soldering and rework.
  • Ability to repair fine-pitch SMT, BGA, QFN, and microelectronic components.
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and electronic assemblies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and diagnostic equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPC-7711/7721 Certification.
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
  • IPC-A-610 Knowledge.
  • Experience with aerospace or medical electronics.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
