Job description

Electrical Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support critical infrastructure within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows electrical systems deeply and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting where uptime and compliance aren't optional.

What You'll Do

Own maintenance and reliability of high voltage, low voltage, and power distribution systems including panels and sub-transformers

Execute preventive maintenance, calibration, and validation programs on time and to GMP standards

Lead electrical installation and retrofit projects from scope through commissioning

Partner with cross-functional teams to specify, procure, and commission equipment

Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and spare parts inventory

Support regulatory inspections, audits, and change control processes

Respond to electrical and utility breakdowns with urgency

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

6+ years of experience in electrical engineering within pharma or regulated manufacturing

Strong knowledge of high/low voltage systems, utilities, and power distribution

Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA standards, and OSHA electrical safety requirements

Familiarity with 11kVA systems and high voltage operations

Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and construction blueprints

Experience with regulatory inspections and GMP compliance

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Self-starter with strong communication skills and calm under pressure
