Position: Electrical Engineer Location: Cary, Illinois

Are you an electrical engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ideas into real products? Do you want to work in a stable, engineering-driven environment where your designs directly impact technologies used around the world? Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held, global manufacturer renowned for its legacy of engineering excellence in high-performance RF chip inductors, power magnetics, and filters. Headquartered in Cary, Illinois, we support customers across telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team and help design, develop, and improve magnetic components that shape the future of global technology.

About the Role and Your Impact
  • Design, develop, and improve magnetic component products, including defining and building prototypes
  • Drive quality and performance improvements through testing, analysis, and refinement
  • Work with sales and marketing to translate customer needs into product specifications
  • Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and quality teams to transition designs into production
  • Serve as the engineering contact for released products and support them throughout their lifecycle
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks (preferred)
  • Ability to generate cost-reduction ideas without sacrificing quality or performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
