Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:
Bring your electrical design expertise to our New York City team and help deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you'll lead electrical design and project efforts while helping guide and mentor other engineers.
You'll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects for schools and universities, healthcare organizations, institutional clients, and commercial facilities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll design power, lighting, fire alarm, and special systems while contributing to projects across K-12 and higher education, healthcare, institutional, and commercial markets. This is a role where you can take ownership of meaningful design work, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and help shape spaces that communities rely on every day.
This is a hybrid role. This role is eligible for a $5K signing bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical systems, including lighting, power, and life safety, for renovations, new facilities, and modernization projects that support real client needs
  • Apply your technical expertise to load sizing and service requirements for beneficial electrification projects.
  • Lead electrical projects and contribute to quality through thoughtful QA/QC of design work.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers as they develop their technical skills and project experience.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated, client-focused designs.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 5 years of electrical design experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • New York State Professional Engineer
  • Experience supporting K-12, higher education, healthcare, institutional, and/or commercial projects in the New York market.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines, including proficiency with the National Electrical Code.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and balance competing project needs.
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative
  • Interest in providing technical mentorship and supporting the growth of less-experienced engineers.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach to solving problems effectively and in a timely manner.

Location: New York City- Hybrid
This role is eligible for signing bonus of $5,000 - $10,000 (subject to experience and qualifications).
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $170,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, project experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role.
