Are you an innovative problem-solver with a passion for designing electronic systems?
SAIC is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) and Marine Air Defense Integrated Systems (MADIS) vehicles.
What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with customers to design and develop cable assemblies specifically tailored for MADIS and CAC2S systems.
  • Create, modify, and enhance models for cable assemblies to meet project specifications.
  • Review and refine technical drawings prepared by drafters to ensure precision and compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the manufacturing process, ensuring system functionality and quality.
  • Conduct experimental tests, evaluate results, and provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with two (2) + years of experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with 0 years of experience.
  • One (1) year of experience in C5ISR electronics integration, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, and Test & Evaluation Criteria.
  • Proficiency in technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
  • The ability to analyze a variety of factors and provide solutions to moderately complex technical problems.
  • Strong judgment to execute tasks within established procedures, with a focus on meeting project objectives and milestones.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and liaise with external stakeholders on routine matters.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
