About the Role

We design and manufacture advanced x-ray and radiation-based systems used in medical, industrial, and security applications. This is an on-site position. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation; contribute to PFMEA and process control plans
  • Create and manage electrical design documentation including block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using established revision control processes
  • Develop electrical project plans aligned with product roadmaps and overall project schedules
  • Design and validate power distribution circuits with attention to signal integrity, grounding, and EMC
  • Develop test methods and verification/validation plans; administer test programs with lab technicians and team engineers
  • Coordinate across mechanical, software, and regulatory teams to ensure designs meet project, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Interface with vendors and suppliers for component selection, qualification, and contract manufacturing
  • Report project status and escalate risks proactively

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on electrical circuit design experience
  • Proficiency in E-CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or SolidWorks Electrical
  • Demonstrated experience with power distribution circuit design
  • Working knowledge of PLC-based electromechanical control systems
  • Experience with signal integrity, grounding techniques, and design for regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 design and development process requirements (design inputs/outputs, reviews, verification, validation, and change control)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with x-ray generating devices, radiation-shielded enclosures, or x-ray imaging systems
  • Familiarity with radiation detection technology or the science of materials in radiation environments
  • Experience designing to IEC, UL, or FDA regulatory standards
