Electrical Engineer - Remote

Our team of dedicated, agile, and efficient professionals is based in Calgary, Alberta, and has provided exceptional services to clients across North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and provide input to projects regarding MCC, utilities, cable schedules, facility equipment loads, etc.
  • Develop project deliverables including: single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, junction box layouts, bill of materials, lighting and grounding layouts, control panel layouts, instrument layouts and instrument indices
  • Review vendor and subcontractor quotes and drawings for accuracy
  • Provided assistance with commissioning of projects as needed
  • Attends and participates in HAZOPs, Model Reviews and Constructability Reviews as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical discipline experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in one or more US states, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Proficiency and a solid understanding of all pertinent codes, standards, guidelines and best practices
  • Ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks and follow through from initialization to completion independently
