Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks on electrical distribution systems and electronic components.
  • Perform calibration tasks on pressure and temperature transmitters, indicators and probes
  • Troubleshoot and repair Electrical equipment such as inverters, controllers, starters, PLCs, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems and electrical distribution systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical maintenance team to diagnose and solve various issues
  • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:
Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.
  • Three years' experience in an industrial environment either in a maintenance or operations position
  • Formal industrial electrical or electronics education (to include degree, certificate, or military equivalent) preferred
  • Formal training & experience with programming PLC's, HMI's and Drives or willingness to receive such training (may include travel)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

Competencies: Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
  • Ability to work as part of a support team
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
