The salary range for this position is $95,000- $125,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

About the Role
The Construction Manager will work closely with the field operations and Project Managers in order to successfully oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of power distribution projects. This role involves making sure Safety is a priority and quality standards are upheld throughout all phases of the project. The Construction Manager will ensure safety, serve as quality control, and work closely with multiple teams and clients. If you are passionate about safety and known to have awesome communication skills this role could be a great fit.
This position will be in office at a minimum of 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Dedicated Site Leadership
  • Must be daily full-time and onsite.
  • Serves as the single point of field accountability for all distribution construction and onsite vendor/subcontractor activities.

Total Field Execution Responsibility (Will not directly manage crews)
  • Directly responsible for day-to-day distribution construction oversight, including:
    • Subcontractors
    • Field crews
    • Equipment installation
    • Commissioning support

Safety Ownership
  • Leads and enforces all site safety programs.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA, Owner standards, and project-specific plans.
  • Owns incident reporting and corrective actions.

Schedule & Progress Control
  • Maintains and drives the construction schedule.
  • Tracks progress vs. milestones and implements recovery plans for delays.

Quality & Documentation
  • Ensures all work meets specifications and QA/QC requirements.
  • Oversees testing, inspections, redlines, and as-builts required for turnover.

Owner Interface & Communication
  • Acts as the primary onsite liaison to the Owner and Project/Program Manager.
  • Leads coordination meetings and provides proactive issue escalation.

Subcontractor Management
  • Responsible for performance, compliance, and coordination of all subcontractors onsite.

Environmental & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensures adherence to SWPPP, permits, and environmental controls.
  • Manages proper waste handling and site restoration.

Site Control & Administration
  • Coordinates a safe, organized, and secure jobsite.
  • Provides required facilities and access for the Owner.

Commissioning & Closeout
  • Drives punch list completion, turnover documentation, and training.
  • Supports final acceptance and project closeout.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in power distribution, construction, or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Microsoft Project, P6 Scheduling, and other project management tools.

Key Nice-To-Haves
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Construction Management Professional certification is a plus.
