From initial concept to mass production, you'll lead projects, collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver groundbreaking solutions that challenge conventional thinking.
Description
As a Display Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and driving display module electrical design requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototypes to mass production. You'll contribute to the overall module architecture, including custom silicon and IP definition, develop comprehensive validation plans, and manage vendors to ensure the highest quality products. Collaborating with a world-class cross-functional team, you'll use cutting-edge display technology to design innovative products that push the boundaries of what's possible.
Preferred Qualifications
MS or PhD in one of following EE focused areas ( IC design, RF/Wireless, Power electronics, System design, Wireless, Semiconductors, FPGAs, TFTs )
Experience with module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specs to meet high level requirements
Experience in one or more of: Analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, power (DC-DC converters, power management, low power design).
Experience with PCB simulations for PDN, SI/PI/crosstalk, and EMI/EMC is a plus.
Experience in display technology, such as OLED, LCD, e-paper, is a plus.
Experience working with cross functional teams on multi-disciplinary HW designs (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical) is a plus.
Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree
Experience with coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar tools

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
