Job description

As a Controls Engineer, your mission is to provide support to the controls and project teams. You will report to the Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Read and describe customer specs and incorporate them into designs
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and sub‑vendors while providing accurate technical answers on engineering issues
  • Direct panel designs to internalsystems
  • Understand and apply electrical industry standards (NEC, IEC, ATEX, UL, CSA, etc.) to compressor instrumentation and control systems
  • Conduct design review meetings to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the control system deliverables and ensure designs comply with relevant work instructions and/or international standards
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience and ability to run projects independently
  • Customer relations experience
  • Understanding of NEC
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
