Job description

San Miguel Power Association is seeking a strategic, collaborative Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This role is responsible for guiding the financial direction of the cooperative and ensuring long-term financial health while supporting our mission to serve members and communities.
About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the strategic direction, integrity, and oversight of all financial functions of the Association. This role leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and investment strategies to ensure the long-term financial health and sustainability of the cooperative.
The CFO ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, supports data-driven decision-making, and aligns financial operations with the Association's strategic objectives. This position partners closely with the General Manager/CEO, Board of Directors, and leadership team to provide financial insights, guide strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
