Job description

Zeteo Tech, a venture-backed company developing solution for Medical and Biodefense applications, is seeking a skilled and motivated electrical or computer engineer with and interest in embedded systems. Our ideal candidate is interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment, developing game changing solutions to healthcare and national security challenges. You'll use your hands-on hardware and software engineering expertise to conceive, design, build, test and commercialize products.
Duties:
  1. Actively participate in the design and development of embedded systems, including hardware selection, programming, design tradeoffs, and test planning.
  2. Work with the Zeteo team and customers at all stages of the development process to ensure successful commercialization.
  3. Support development and programming of signal and information processing algorithms.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related technical field
  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience working with embedded systems
  • Experience with embedded hardware and software development, and design/test of hardware/software systems
  • Familiarity with the operation of test and measurement equipment for electronic systems
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Python, C, R, or Digital Signal Processing
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • The ability to document designs and results; understanding the critical nature of that step in our development process

Desired Qualifications:
  • Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Hands on experience designing and prototyping electronic circuitry that employs FPGAs, DSP processors, microcontrollers, sensors, and power supplies
  • Hands on experience with analog circuits and high voltage systems
  • Experience with low-power microcontrollers including SoC processors
