Job description

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate should have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders including diagnosing electrical, networking, programming, engine, transmission, climate control, brakes, suspension, etc...

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs with efficiency in accordance with Ford's guidelines.

  • Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles including electrical, computer modules, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Service Technician experience preferred

  • High school diploma required.

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.

  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to work with diagnostic computers.

  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.

  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

  • Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively.

  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
