Job Description

Assists in the review and approval of plans, including goals and objectives, work breakdown structure, detailed scope descriptions, detailed schedules, risk management approach and milestone descriptions,.

Coordinates and performs field management assessments and audits/surveillance.

Provides technical direction, serves as a point of contact or business liaison,

Prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to the program/project.

Designs and tests electronic and electro-mechanical products.

Writes manufacture and test procedures and reports.

Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products.

Provides technical support to Sales and Marketing for bids and proposals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 5+ years of electrical engineering experience

Strong aptitude and demonstrated competency working with mechanical and electrical components and systems found in heavy industrial machines, equipment and facilities.

Strong control systems knowledge with demonstrated competency in design and troubleshooting

Ability to analyze and solve technical problems quickly and effectively

Proficiency with Microsoft office

Proficient at the National Electrical Code

Proficient with Short Circuit Current Ratings (SCCR)

Proficiency with Electrical CAD systems, power side Electrical Systems

Automation and/or Instrumentation

Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities

Ability to interact with employees and contractors in a manner to achieve set goals

Familiarity and experience with both DDC and PLC Control Platforms

ALC / OEMCtrl, Siemens, ABB and Honeywell is a plus

BACnet, LON and Modbus communication protocols

Understanding hardware configuration of Inputs / Outputs

Visual logic programming experience

Power and control panel layout / design
