Job description

Seeking multiple Electrical CAD Designers to serve as A&E Firm Rep supporting design coordination and execution for semiconductor tool install - Phoenix, AZ.
The Electrical Construction Engineer serves as the A&E Representative supporting engineering and design oversight for electrical scopes during the construction phase of semiconductor facility projects. This role focuses on reviewing contractor deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring electrical systems are constructed in accordance with design intent, client standards, and project requirements. The Electrical Engineer works closely with the design team, contractor, and client stakeholders to resolve issues, support field coordination, and maintain alignment throughout the construction lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent field experience
  • Experience supporting electrical engineering and design efforts during construction-phase projects
  • Familiarity with semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial facility environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, systems, and construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support project deliverables in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and design support for electrical systems during the construction phase of semiconductor facility projects
  • Report to the discipline lead for assignment of scope and coordination of deliverables
  • Review RFIs for technical accuracy and alignment with design intent
  • Review contractor submittals for compliance with project requirements, specifications, and client standards
  • Perform site walks to verify as-built conditions and confirm installation aligns with approved design documents
  • Coordinate with owner, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support issue resolution and project execution
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, structural, process/chemical, and architectural
  • Participate in coordination meetings and design reviews, providing technical input and resolving comments
  • Support adherence to client design standards, procedures, and project schedules
  • Participate in regular coordination and workgroup meetings with active technical engagement
  • Support review cycles, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of design comments
  • Execute assigned deliverables accurately and completely
  • Support onboarding and integration into project workflows
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and proactively communicate risks or delays
  • Coordinate with discipline leads to confirm required software tools and platforms
  • Verify compatibility of design tools to ensure efficient coordination and quality output
  • Provide weekly updates on task progress, constraints, and open items
  • Track outstanding issues and proactively work toward resolution
  • Support tracking of effort and progress against project expectations
  • Maintain consistent communication with project management and discipline leadership
  • Adhere to project quality standards and established QA/QC procedures
  • Ensure deliverables meet project requirements, standards, and expectations
