Essential job fuctions and responsibilities:

         Perform electrical assembly and alterations of standard and custom controls subassemblies; i.e. PLC cabinets and HMI enclosures, as depicted on subassembly and module assembly drawings provided by Controls Design.

         Modifications to designs must be approved by Electrical Supervisor

         Assist Supervisor in working with Controls Design to review new standard wiring practices and component integration.

         Assist Project Lead's and Programing group in troubleshooting wiring / component issues.

         Assist Electrical Technicians in making "On the Floor" design changes and check redlines of other technicians as requested by supervisor.

         Assist Electrical Technicians in identifying and implementing standards improvements (ECN, OFI's).

         Assist Project Lead's as necessary when setting up and cycling stations to ensure the correct operation of switches, sensors and other electrical devices.

         Assist Project Lead's and Electrical Technicians in planning and prioritizing module and system level electrical tasks.

         Proficient in Ethernet Network Wiring techniques and troubleshooting.

         Perform field service work, with Project Lead supervision or with no supervision, (i.e. solo) as required for installation assistance of equipment at customer's facility with possible 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift requirements.

         Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.

         Maintain MQP's in accordance with ISO / Work Instruction procedures, including completion of requirements within the Assembly Verification section.

         Read, abide by and enforce company policies.

         Be actively involved in developing and implementing Continuous Improvements in the electrical area as well as the entire department.

         Abide by all safety procedures and cooperate with the Safety Coordinator to ensure safety compliance is maintained.

         Read and comply with "Hot Work Safety" as well as other Work Instructions per job description.

         Complete in-house training. (Mentor Checklist)

         Participate in the Company Idea System making continuous improvements as required.
