Job description

Job Overview
The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, and integrating electrical wireways-including cable tray and basket tray systems-used in data center power and infrastructure applications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets engineering and customer specifications.
Working under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrical Integrator I performs cutting, bending, measuring, and installing tray systems safely and efficiently. This position plays a critical role in ensuring proper routing of electrical infrastructure throughout modular units and assemblies.
A Day In The Life
In this role, your daily responsibilities may include:
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, bending, and assembling wireways such as cable tray and basket tray
  • Installing tray systems and securing them according to engineering drawings and instructions
  • Working with large-gauge wire (250, 350, 500, 600 KCMIL) as needed
  • Reading and following posted bulletins, work instructions, regulations, and manufacturer manuals
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and ladders or lifts (with required safety harnesses)
  • Performing work safely while adhering to all OSHA, company, and equipment guidelines
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas and inspecting job sites upon completion
  • Completing required documentation such as timesheets and material-usage forms
  • Reporting issues or discrepancies to supervisors and offering improvement suggestions
  • Working cooperatively with team members to meet daily production targets
  • Following the company's Quality Management System and ISO 9001 standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining efficient workflow practices

  • Comfort working with large-gauge wire
  • Proficiency using tape measures, rulers, cutting tools, and installation tools
  • Familiarity with construction, electrical installation, or industrial assembly environments
  • Understanding of safe equipment operation and workplace safety requirements

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. regularly and perform team-lifts up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and work at heights (ladders up to 10 ft; elevated lifts with harnesses)
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to be trained to operate a WAVE machine
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and weekends as required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
