The Role
Assembles electrical, equipment, and subassemblies according to customer specifications by performing the following duties.
What you will be responsible for:
  • Assembles electrical and mechanical, equipment, and their subassemblies according to customers' needs following drawings and other written and verbal specifications.
  • Drills, taps, or reams holes, aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools; bends and installs electrical conduit.
  • Strips shielding and crimps assorted wires to required work instructions.
  • Trains, or assists in the training of other employees in assembly processes.
  • Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime
  • Implement and maintain 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner).
  • Responsible with hand-tools, power-tools and/or equipment in the area on daily basis to ensure cleanliness and functionality at all time.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
  • Two years of prior assembly related experience.
