These roles are designed to provide practical, hands-on experience and help apprentices fulfill the requirements for becoming a licensed electrician. Working part-time allows flexibility for balancing work, education, or other commitments. Apprentices typically work under close supervision and gradually take on more responsibility as they gain skills and experience.

What types of projects and tasks can I expect to work on as an electrical apprentice part time?

You’ll gain hands-on experience in both residential and commercial settings, depending on your employer. Part-time apprentices often rotate through different job sites and responsibilities, allowing you to develop a broad skill set while balancing work with other commitments like school or family.
