Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting electricians in installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathers tools and supplies to be used at the work site.

  • Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit and motors.

  • Maintains tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order.

  • Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment.

  • Measures, cuts and bends wire and conduit.

  • Performs other routine duties.

  • Follows all company policies.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (preferred).

  • Knowledge of all safety rules and regulations.

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to follow verbal instruction.

  • Ability to safely and properly operate hand and/or power tools.
