Job description

A day in this role

You’ll travel with a tight-knit crew to industrial sites across the country, wiring and commissioning automation systems that keep facilities moving. One week you may be installing power and controls for conveyor lines; the next, you’re troubleshooting a complex issue and guiding apprentices through best practices. Safety, quality, and collaboration with your foreman and project manager shape every shift.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and coach electrical apprentices on industrial automation projects of varying scope.
  • Own jobsite safety and deliver work that meets or exceeds quality standards.
  • Coordinate closely with foremen and project managers to hit milestones and deliverables.
  • Diagnose electrical issues quickly and implement effective fixes.
  • Share knowledge—train teammates on techniques, standards, and efficient methods.
  • Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel to project locations nationwide as assignments require.
What you bring
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license from any U.S. state.
  • Team-first mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of control systems is a plus—training available for the right candidate.
  • Curiosity and drive to grow within industrial automation.
  • Positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for project work.

Compensation
