About the Opportunity

A growing automotive manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical to maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment and plant electrical systems.

This is a hands-on role focused on industrial electrical troubleshooting, PLC-controlled machinery, 24V–480V systems, motors, controls, and preventive maintenance, with additional exposure to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment
  • Diagnose issues involving 24V–480V systems, motors, relays, contactors, sensors, VFDs, and controls
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Siemens S7 systems
  • Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and equipment drawings
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as needed
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Install and maintain electrical components, instrumentation, and process-control equipment
  • Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades
  • Maintain cold forming, thread rolling, inspection, heat-treatment, and packaging equipment
  • Coordinate repairs with production to minimize downtime
  • Follow all plant safety and maintenance procedures


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with 480V three-phase systems
  • Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, sensors, relays, and related electrical components
  • Experience with PLC-controlled production equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical education or apprenticeship in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs
  • Experience with VFDs, ABB/SEW drives, HMIs, or SCADA systems
  • Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience
  • Experience with cold heading, stamping, forging, machining, or other metal-forming equipment
  • Welding, fabrication, machining, or forklift experience
  • Familiarity with SAP or computerized maintenance systems
