Position Requirements
All candidates must be:

Required License:

  • Current Utah Apprentice Electrician License
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
  • Analyze electrical issues and effectively communicate technical information.
  • Follow industry safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control and consistency of workmanship.
  • Perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare and understand proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, and reports.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread electrical raceways, conduit, and wire using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers, coworkers, and project managers.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an approved electrical apprenticeship program and attending electrical schooling.
  • Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor job site environments.
