Job description

Malace|HR is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at various job sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience in the field while progressing toward becoming a licensed electrician.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed electricians with the installation of wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical components

  • Pull wire, cut conduit, and prepare materials for electrical installations

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working condition

  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety standards

  • Support the team with troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead electrician or supervisor


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures

  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn

  • Reliable transportation to job sites

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
