Location: Boone, Colorado

Pay:

$36.49/Hour - Apprentice Electricians

Hours: 45+ hours per week

We are seeking licensed Colorado Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to support a major renewable energy construction project in . This project includes a 530+ MW Battery Energy Storage System and large-scale Solar installation, offering long-term stability with work projected to continue through 2027 and beyond.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians looking for consistent overtime, competitive pay, and experience on one of the region's most significant clean energy infrastructure projects.

Position Summary

As an Electrician, you will perform complex electrical installations and terminations on a large-scale utility renewable energy project. Work will include BESS equipment, solar infrastructure, underground electrical systems, conduit installation, cable routing, and power distribution systems. Candidates must hold a current Colorado electrical license and possess experience in industrial, large commercial, power generation, or oil & gas environments.

Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and components in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications.
  • Perform heavy power and control cable terminations.
  • Install underground electrical systems, including conduit and cable routing.
  • Run, bend, and install conduit for industrial applications.
  • Pull, route, and secure electrical wiring and cabling.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with other trades and project teams to maintain construction schedules.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, code compliance, and safety standards.
  • Follow all site safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and commissioning activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Colorado Electrician License (Journeyman or higher preferred).
  • Experience on industrial, utility, large commercial, power generation, or oil & gas projects.
  • Strong experience with heavy electrical terminations.
  • Underground electrical installation experience.
  • Conduit bending and installation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements and construction safety standards.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience.
  • Solar construction experience.
  • Utility-scale renewable energy project experience.
  • Commissioning and startup experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51.46 - $66.33/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
