Job description

ProHunters is hiring experienced Commercial Apprentice Electricians for a long-term project in College Station, Texas. This opportunity offers steady work with strong potential for temp-to-hire placement.


Pay & Benefits

  • $24–$35 per hour, based on experience
  • $75 per day per diem, paid for all days worked
  • Long-term, steady employment
  • Opportunity for permanent placement
  • Course completion incentive: Employees who complete all required additional OSHA courses and successfully complete their first two weeks of work will receive an incentive payment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction sites
  • Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
  • Pull wire and perform electrical terminations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Perform electrical layouts and install devices, lighting, panels, and related equipment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and project-site requirements


Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience, with commercial experience strongly preferred
  • Valid and active Texas TDLR Electrical Apprentice License
  • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it as required
  • Must complete all additional OSHA and site-specific safety courses before starting the project
  • Must be able to read, understand, and speak English for job-site safety and communication
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must have the required electrical hand tools
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced commercial construction environment

  • Type 2, Class E hardhat — provided by the client
  • Composite-toe work boots
  • Cut Level 2 gloves
  • Class 2 high-visibility vest
  • Safety glasses
