In this role you will be responsible for promoting and supporting our electrical products, assemblies and services to Eaton customers. This is a professional sales role focused on achieving sales goals, supporting channel efforts and exceeding customer expectations. The emphasis is on growing profitable order volume across all product lines while expanding Eaton's presence in the industry.

This position coordinates and implements overall sales strategies. The Application Engineer manages all aspects of the business relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to customers, consultants and channel. Sales - Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives.

Prepare and present sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities. Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.

Assist with layout and design control and monitoring systems using Eaton's assembly and component products to provide customer solutions. Provide technical assistance to customers and channel. Collaboration - Achieve team Orders and Sales goals.

Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations. Prepare sales presentations to create product/service/solution understanding and awareness. Customer Relationships - Interface with Electrical Consultant Principals and Lead Electrical Engineers, as well as Facility Engineers.

Conduct product training to expand customer, consultant and channel knowledge. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins. Identify customer needs and prepare value propositions to satisfy customer expectations.

Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent. P.

Eng. designation active with PEO. Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in the electrical industry.

Experience with medium voltage and low voltage assemblies. Possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license. No relocation benefits are being offered for this position.

Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Previous sales experience. Strong knowledge of Eaton electrical products, related services, and competitor offerings.

They understand the importance of customers, organizations, channel strategy and pricing to deliver support to internal and external customers. They will have electrical product knowledge with the ability to write technical specifications for new projects.
