MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electrical Engineer II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.

As a core Electrical Engineer II on our innovative team, you'll be deeply involved in the full spectrum of engineering activities - from initial research and design to seamless integration, rigorous testing, and insightful analysis. You'll focus on developing critical defensive cyber technologies, ensuring mission assurance, advancing command and control systems, and building resilient tactical networks. Your efforts will directly translate into enhanced effectiveness for the warfighter. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium).
  • Select appropriate electrical components and materials based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure system performance and safety.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures to validate the functionality and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, testing, and production phases.
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanical, software, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems.
  • Document design specifications, test results, and other technical information accurately and comprehensively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for design processes and methodologies.
  • Potentially mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and development.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, and control systems.
  • Experience with mention specific areas of expertise relevant to the role, e.g., analog/digital circuit design, embedded systems, power electronics, instrumentation, communication protocols].
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IEC, IEEE).

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience supporting government programs.
  • Proficiency in using electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, Fusion 360, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN Software, and ETAP). Experience with IT systems and cloud-based technologies.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
