Senior Project Manager โ€“ Utility Transmission & Substation

Location: Reno, NV (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months (Long-term Extension)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 7+ years of electric utility experience to lead large-scale transmission, substation, and generator interconnection capital projects. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, risk, and stakeholder communication while ensuring successful project delivery from planning through construction and closeout.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of project management experience in the electric utility industry
  • Experience managing high-voltage transmission (60kVโ€“500kV) and substation projects
  • Experience with Large Generator Interconnection projects is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 (preferred) or Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Oracle Unifier, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong cost forecasting, scheduling, variance reporting, and change management experience
  • Bachelor''s degree in Engineering (or related field)
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
