Description

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician to support ongoing operations within a HPC environment while an engineer is away on paternity leave. This is a 6 month contract in Shelton, CT. HPC experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure)

• Hardware repair, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting

• Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management (nice to have)

• Support for the DMF storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team.

• CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting

• Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability

• Supporting the site administrator as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Shelton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
