This is a casual position and is located in Zelienople, PA.
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
BeHome Partners is a community home care agency providing support care to people in their homes to help keep them safe and independent, with services in Armstrong and Butler counties. Performs basic household duties to assist clients to maintain an environment consistent with their needs. Provides for needs in the home in a manner that ensures clients satisfaction and retention. Assists client with such activities as bed-making, changing linens, grocery shopping, light cleaning and light meal preparation, trash disposal, etc. Knowledge and support of the mission and core values of BeHome Partners are important to successful performance, as are commitment to and demonstration of a spirit of teamwork.
Qualifications
Home Helper responsibilities include:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One or more years of related experience in working with individuals in a health care or service oriented setting.
