Position : Virtual 9-12 Spanish Speaking state certified ELA teacher

The Einstein Program is a privately funded; New York based organization whose mission is to provide free/paid education and mentoring services to students in order to achieve the success that they deserve. Through individualized and engaging learning experiences, we encourage a love of learning and curiosity that actualizes confidence, thereby expanding the student's sense of potential. All virtual lessons are one to one.
Job Requirements:
High School (9-12) ELA certification degree (Must speak Spanish to communicate with families)
New York Teaching License a plus!
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of high school ELA teaching experience required
A strong belief that all students can succeed
A "do-whatever-it takes" attitude
Three references required
Online teaching experience a must
Available to teach
Fully Remote Position/Build your own schedule/Must be flexible
Experience working with Title 1 schools/students a plus
Strong knowledge/experience using a variety of online platforms and assessment tools
40-minute classes all one to one with students
Compensation:
Per Diem rate based on experience, certifications, and other
Other:
1099 / Independent Contactor
Must be able to service at least 6 students per week with the opportunity for more
Program is a 12-month program, seeking long term candidates
