The CDL B Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently performing local deliveries in Georgia. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. The position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strict compliance with transportation regulations, as well as Leon Logistics LTD company policies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicle conditions before and after each use, recording inspections and reporting any requirements.
• Maintain safe vehicle conditions and protect the load by complying with internal policies, procedures, traffic laws, and applicable regulations.
• Make deliveries to specific customers by driving the truck and unloading the product manually or with a dolly/pallet jack.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Handle basic paperwork: invoices must be signed upon delivery of the product.
• Collect payments from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoices.
• Return rejected or unsold merchandise, making the corresponding adjustments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to manage time and routes efficiently.
• Strength to lift up to 80 pounds, plus bending and twisting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Open and transparent communication.
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
