Job description


  • Support clients with electronic health record (EHR) implementation

  • Prepare end users for the new EHR through on-site support using change management and training tools

  • Serve as the go-to resource for new system users

  • Provide change management tools and resources

  • Analyze workflows end-to-end

  • Answer questions, solve problems, and help users prepare for system go-live

  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders

  • Support training, change management, go-live, and sustainment activities

  • Support development of work products and deliverables

  • Establish relationships with primary clients and stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes

  • Support business development across the Department of Veterans Affairs account team

  • Support change management implementation and execute the overarching change management strategy

  • Deliver change management communications about the OCM program and upcoming organizational change

  • Manage coordinated change impacts across impacted organizations and personas

  • Support pre-go-live activities, including training and adoption events

  • Guide client conversations toward effective outcomes

  • Educate business partners about the value of change management

  • Engage the community of change practitioners across the organization

  • Build relationships with service line staff as a key point of contact before go-live

  • Work with clients and team to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 3-5 (5+ years preferred) of change management or training experience

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on site during pre- and post-go-live activities

  • Experience working directly in the Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, administrative staff, or other end user

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and related applications

  • Ability to identify and address client needs

  • Ability to actively participate in client discussions and meetings

  • Ability to communicate a broad range of firm services

  • Ability to prepare concise, accurate documents

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership

  • Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables

  • Must be willing to travel up to 75-100%

  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Organizational Change Management or Business Administration (nice to have)

  • Experience in healthcare information technology consulting or large-scale IT transformation projects (nice to have)

  • Experience as a clinician (nice to have)
