For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.**About this role:**The Senior Manager of EH&S leads and continuously advances the Environment, Health & Safety strategy for a Carrier manufacturing facility. This role leads, strengthens, and continuously improves the EHS management system, drives a zero-incident culture, and ensures full regulatory compliance.**Key Responsibilities:*** Leads execution and continuous improvement of the EH&S strategy and management systems (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) for the site.* Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).* Leads risk protection programs, behavior-based safety, and safety culture.* Manages environmental permits, air/water permits, and relationships with regulatory agencies.* Leads and develops the EH&S team.* Directs incident investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans.* Owns EHS metrics, audits, and management reviews.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree* 8+ years of industrial Environmental, Health & Safety experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental, Industrial or Chemical Engineering or related field.* Experience in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments.* Certifications such as CSP, CIH or ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 lead auditor.* Experience driving cultural change and behavior-based safety.* Expert knowledge of US federal, state, and local EH&S regulations (OSHA, EPA) and recordkeeping/reporting requirements.* Demonstrated experience leading, implementing, and continuously improving EHS management systems (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) and driving behavior-based safety.* Experience managing environmental permitting (air/water/waste) and regulatory-agency relationships.* Proven ability to lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action programs.* Professional certifications such as CSP or CIH are strongly preferred.**Pay Range**The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually.
