Job Summary: The Training Specialist leads both in-person and virtual training sessions to support pharmacy staff implementing ScriptPro systems. This individual provides go-live support, assesses pharmacy workflows to enhance system efficiency, and serves as a key liaison between ScriptPro and its customers. Success in this role requires strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills, along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This role requires extensive, multi-day travel to both domestic and international pharmacy locations.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Field Training

Shift: Full-time position requiring frequent travel. Schedule may vary, including weekends. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro. 

Scope of the Role:

  • Travel to domestic and international pharmacy locations to train staff to use ScriptPro systems
  • Provide go-live support to the pharmacy staff through the first few days of a system implementation
  • Observe pharmacy workflow and provide suggestions to maximize system use and productivity
  • Effectively communicate information while acting as a liaison between ScriptPro and the customer
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions on a variety of ScriptPro products
  • Build valuable working relationships across all ScriptPro departments
  • Become a system expert for ScriptPro products and an efficiency expert for how a pharmacy operates
  • Represent ScriptPro and the Field Training team in a professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business, or related field preferred 
  • Ability to travel up to 85%, including multi-hour flights, long-distance driving, and weekends
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fundamental understanding of the principles of presentation and how to engage learners
  • Experience with virtual training platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Skype
  • Talent for rapidly learning new skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with learners while continuously representing the company in a professional manner. Maturity and integrity are a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as superior time management, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn and solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions, and maintain focused attention during extended periods of travel time 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Fluency in a language other than English (Spanish and French speakers highly preferred)
  • Experience in the educational and/or pharmacy field 

Remote Work Requirements:

  • Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
  • Must have a distraction free home office workspace

Compensation and Benefits: 

The compensation range for this role has been established at $24.00 to $27.00 hourly. The final agreed-upon compensation may be higher or lower and is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The above compensation range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

ScriptPro develops, sells, and supports state-of-the-art products and services for healthcare system customers, including federal agencies such as Department of Defense, VA, Indian Health Services and major hospital systems across the U.S. and Canada. Working Conditions: 

This position encompasses both office and workshop environments. Requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Employees may work near and around various conditions such as dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and tools, electrical components, and all-weather conditions. This position is very active and regularly required to stand, walk, sit, squat, stoop, bend, reach, and use hands and fingers. Ability to push, pull, and lift independently, encompassing all lifting positions from floor to overhead is required. Motor coordination, tool use, focused attention during extended periods of travel, and specific vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision, are required. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
