We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Perform dental radiography and other medical imaging as required.
Manage patient records, ensuring all medical records are accurate and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Support prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Salary Range

Full-time $25 - $35 per hour

Salary based on Experience.

Work Hours:

Requirements
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

What We’re Looking For:
EFDA Certification (Required)
Proficient in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
Knowledge of prosthodontics, anatomy, aseptic techniques, and infection control
CPR certified

Preferences

Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills
Experience with pediatric patients and dental office workflows
Familiar with HIPAA regulations and medical imaging
